What is Red Cross Appeal Week?
Every year, thousands of people raise hundreds of thousands of pounds at loads of fun events to raise money during Red Cross Appeal Week.
Whether it’s selling cakes or jumping from a plane, shaking a bucket or having a sponsored shave, Red Cross fundraisers help us raise money (£935,000 in 2009!) that brings life-changing, and life-saving, support to people in crisis.
As part of a worldwide Movement, we provide help at international disasters such as the Haiti earthquake while also supporting vulnerable people in your local area. And it’s people like you, giving a little of their time, who enable us to make such a big difference.
