RCAW Champions
We are the champions!
It's never too early to start preparing for Appeal Week and we're already thinking about next year. We're searching the UK for Appeal Week champions.
Who, you might ask? Our Appeal Week champions are intrepid fundraisers who, besides helping out themselves, also persuade their friends, colleagues and neighbours to get involved during the big week.
Anyone can become a champion – whether you want to organise a cake sale at your school or get hundreds of people involved in a fundraising night, every little bit helps. So why not get your thinking caps on and come up with some fantastic fundraising ideas for this year’s Red Cross Appeal Week?
Why be a champion?
Because you can make a big difference. Appeal Week champions play a crucial role in helping raise as much money as possible to support our live-saving and life-changing work. With a little help from you, we can get many more people involved in the exciting events held during Appeal Week.
For example, if you were to collect for two hours you might raise £40. However, if you’d also persuaded four friends or family members to come along and put in a couple of hours, you’d suddenly be looking at £200.
It’s simple, really: the more people get involved, the more money we’ll raise to help people in crisis. So sign up to be a champion today.
